Soul Dancer Conference 2026. A Life Changing Experience!
July 28-30 | Diplomat Hotel, Hollywood, FL
Where Dance Feeds The Soul!
At Soul Dancer Conference, we leave the trophies and the pressure at the door. For three unforgettable days we come together to move, to grow, to be inspired, and remember why we fell in love with dance in the first place.
An Experience for Dancers Like No Other
In addition to diverse dance styles, Soul dancers will also be offered unique sessions such as journal writing, exploring higher education options with colleges (open to parents as well), assistant teacher success training, choreography workshops, and more, ensuring a holistic and inspiring experience that goes beyond traditional dance training.
Movement classes will include:
• Ballet • Jazz • Contemporary • Tap • Hip Hop • Musical Theater • Acrobatics • Lyrical • Ballroom • Partnering • & more!
Our master faculty and specialized mentors guide each session with encouragement and expertise, helping dancers build skills, confidence, and artistry. Without comparison or competition, every dancer is free to shine, learn, and celebrate their own unique journey.
With a junior track (age 12 and under) and a senior track (ages 13+) dancers, we aim to provide age-appropriate training, stronger peer connection, and a more impactful learning experience for every dancer.
Soul dancers return home inspired, confident, and connected with a new dance family.
Introducing Soul to Sole!
Get ready for our brand new Hip Hop Track at Soul Dancer Conference — a full experience dedicated to hip hop foundations, popping, breaking, progressions, freestyle development, musicality, graffiti influence, and the history behind the movement.
This track goes beyond choreography. It’s about training deeper, moving smarter, and understanding where the style comes from, so you can show up with authenticity and confidence.
Creatively directed by Geo Hubela, Soul to Sole is designed to challenge, inspire, and educate the next generation of hip hop dancers. Students can move through both the core Soul track and the Hip Hop track as they wish. We encourage you to design your own Soul experience!
Workshops for For Parents
At Soul, we honor the vital role parents and caregivers play in supporting the next generation of dancers. Our workshops provide insight, encouragement, and even a little movement (no experience required). Through engaging sessions and panels, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the opportunities available for your dancer and the lasting impact of dance training.
Learn how dance builds resilience, creativity, discipline, and confidence.
Explore pathways and opportunities for your child’s future, whether in dance or beyond.
Participate in light movement and shared sessions with your dancer.
Connect with other parents and ask questions in a welcoming, open environment.
When you sign your child up for dance, it may feel like it’s about steps and movement, but it’s so much more. You’re giving them resilience, creativity, and heart—qualities that help them grow into confident people ready to succeed in life. At Soul, you’ll leave with tools, insights, and memories that make you proud to be a dance parent.
Training & Practical Tools For Teachers
At Soul, teachers grow alongside their students. Educator-focused sessions include:
Dedicated teacher training sessions with a focus on technique development and progressions for all levels, designed to give educators their own specialized classes
Strategies for classroom management and dancer well-being
Fresh approaches to curriculum design
Honest, motivational conversations with leading voices in dance education
Opportunities to observe classes and connect theory to practice
You’ll leave Soul with renewed energy, practical tools, and a supportive fellowship of teachers who share your love for the art.

Through The Lens – Dance Film Workshop
Directed by Marisa & Carlos Garland of DanceLook
Step into the world where dance and filmmaking meet. This immersive Dance Film Workshop guides participants through the creative process of learning and performing choreography specifically crafted for the camera. Dancers will explore movement designed for cinematic angles, develop skills in on-screen performance, spacing, storytelling, and transitions, and gain insight into how choreography shifts when viewed through a lens rather than on a stage.
Throughout the workshop, students build confidence in both technique and artistry while collaborating in a professional, film-style environment. The experience culminates in the creation of a final, high-quality video piece.
This workshop takes place following the Soul Dancer Conference, July 31–August 1, and is reserved for Soul attendees age 12+.
- July 31: 10am-4pm
- August 1: 9am–3pm
Cost: $200
Limited spots available.
